Hunting Lodge

The hunting excursions are carried out according to the regulations approved by the Province of Potenza, which will be previously given, with strict regulations designed to carry out all activities safely.
Hunters are allowed to hunt only with a regular and valid license.
The meeting point is for everyone at the Holiday Farm "La Sterpina" 2 km from San Brancato of Sant'Arcangelo, where you go on a short trip to the "Hunting Lodge" in the land Difesa Tenuta Monte Scardaccione, which is at the foot of the forest.
Once you have reached the "Hunting Lodge", after performing the administrative duties and made a hearty breakfast, every hunter is accompanied to his Altana that contains 2/3 places.
The line   begins with a  horn   that emits   three long   sounds.
Then   the dogs  are let loose to  start   searching.
In the reserve   there are several   ungulates   such as   wild boar, deer , wild sheep  and deer,   of which  we can  guarantee  the sighting   but not the elimination , as that will depend on  the skill of the   hunter.
The hunting session  is suspended   or ends with   the horn   that emits   one long   sound.
Each hunter   is entitled to   5 kg   of meat   or,   in   the case of slaughter , to half  of   one of the animals   that   has been slaughtered .
